Amid the plethora of public houses scattered across East London, the Angel of Bow is an irrefutable diamond. Its cozy wood-burning stove and its welcoming atmosphere are akin to the quality of the food and drinks on the menu, the space itself is unique and eclectically decorated in various shades of grey with numerous one-off pieces of artisan furniture. The outdoor space is magical, and it reflects the Angel in the pub’s name, the murals have been painted by Paul Don Smith the renowned street artist, and it is a cool and enticing area to sit and chill with friends.

The newly decorated BnB offers a boutique hotel feel in a small establishment, with reasonably priced doubles and single rooms shouted out style and substance.

The Angel of Bow stands out as it offers the most delectable Sunday roast and the best within the area The roast, in particular, is a real standout, Mum’s roast as everyone calls it after Odette, Dominic’s Mum, features various succulent cuts of meat there is always a good choice of roasts including vegan roast, crispy roast potatoes, and all the trimmings that one could ever desire. Mrs O’s recipes.

The pub food is of a very high standard the quality is excellent with over 98% of the food being homemade, in our own kitchen, if you hold a preference for artisan brewers, then this establishment provides a cornucopia of selections—besides, the menu consists of numerous mouth-watering options guaranteed to satiate any craving. And, of course, no public house visit is complete without a pint or two of something delicious, fortunately, the Angel of Bow offers an impressive selection of artisan beers, encompassing an array of local brewers. Don’t forget our own brewed Hells Larger 4% ABV …The Angel of Bow Lager

Moreover, there are regular live music events and Wednesdays are open mic evenings, making it an ideal destination for an evening out with friends and family Please always feel free to bring your furry babies. We are VERY pet friendly.

Nevertheless, one of the defining aspects of the Angel of Bow is its commitment to live music and open mic nights. Whether you hold a penchant for performing or attending live music, there is always something happening here. From emerging local acts to established artists, the pub presents a diverse and stimulating lineup that is bound to keep you engrossed. Furthermore, if you feel like ‘giving it large’ why not sign up for the open mic and claim the stage? It represents an ideal moment to showcase your abilities and interact with other music devotees.

Overall, the Angel of Bow epitomizes the quintessential public house, whether you seek excellent cuisine, divine brews, or captivating entertainment. Whether you are a local or just passing through, it is undoubtedly worth a visit.

The Angel of Bow is located near numerous tube lines and the DLR is easy to get to and even better to stay for a while.
